By taxi
Taxi in Bucharest is relatively inexpensive, with typical a fare of 1.39 LEI (0.3 EUR) /Km, while the more upscale companies can charge a still reasonable 3.3 LEI (0.7 EUR) /Km. There are many large taxi companies, with good services and large fleets. If taking a cab off-the-street, the only word of advice is to check the fare per km before boarding the car, because especially around the high-traffic areas, such as train stations and airports, one might come across dodgy deals.
At the airport there is a touch-screen taxi kiosk, which you can use in full confidence to call a cab (more details and estimated fares here: http://www.bucharestairports.ro/en/transport/taxi). The trip by taxi from the airport should cost between 8 and 20 EUR, depending on traffic conditions and the time of the day.
Driving
If driving, you can use the following GPS coordinates:

For those more accustomed to Bucharest, coming from the city center (Universitate Square), drive straight towards the south, pass under the Unirii Passage, and after exiting the passage turn RIGHT at the first stoplight (Bd. Marasesti), then follow the tram lines. After approximately 0.7 km, when you reach the next major crossroad (the Zodiac Fountain in front of Carol Park), keep following the tram lines uphill (towards Filaret Station). After another approximately 0.3 km, turn RIGHT immediately as you reach the top of the hill, BEFORE the Filaret Park, and you will see the hotel and restaurant on your right (as you approach the point where you have to turn right, on one of the wings of our our building situated on the right of the road you will see a sign with the hotel logo).
Public parking is available on both sides of the street and in front of the hotel.
From AUTOGARA FILARET (if you arrive by international bus)
As you exit the station, all you have to do is cross the Filaret Park (the small green square in front of the station) and you will arrvie at our hotel.
